M 15

M15 (NGC 7078), a globular stellar cluster  in constellation Pegasus. About 175 light-years in diameter, M15 is composed of at least five hundred thousand stars. 

M15, second brightest cluster in the Northern hemisphere, discovered in 1746 (J.-D. Maraldi) is about  34.000 light-years away from Earth, and the globular cluster is one of over one hundred clusters that orbit the center of the Milky Way
